This is the story of an encounter between a boy who has been abandoned by his parents and has lived alone, and his sponsored couple who cannot have children. The boy, who could only feel himself by committing crimes, begins to find meaning in life.
STORY
Hiroyuki (53) and Sonoko (42) run an okonomiyaki restaurant in Sennichimae, Osaka.
While the store is struggling to operate due to an incident caused by a former employee, Hiroyuki is interviewed at a juvenile detention center.
They decide to hire Hayato (18), who tells them, "I want to start over! I want to be reborn!"
Yuto's parents refuse to sponsor him.
On the other hand, Hiroyuki went astray when he was young and lost his younger brother to a lynching by a gang.
After being released on parole, Yuto begins living in the company dormitory and tries desperately to learn his job.
With my first paycheck, I bought a present for my father and went to deliver it, but he had already moved away.
Abandoned by his mother at a young age, and with the only means of communication with his father, the phone, now out of service, Yuto is abandoned by his parents once again.
He ends up contacting Takumi, a former thieving partner.
Then, at the club where Takumi takes him, he has a fateful encounter with Yukiha (17).
"I'm going to break up with my ex. Let's start over together," she promises, and the two of them start living together.
It also affects Hayato's work attitude.
After Koga suddenly disappears, Yuto gradually becomes isolated at the store and starts to act out of control.
What can Hiroyuki and Sonoko do for Hayato, both as guarantors and as individuals?
Yuto himself is faced with a situation where he is forced to make a choice about his future.

I was touched by the company managers who were ready to act as parents and provide support.
I don't have a company that can offer me a job,
You can start a film company!
And so this film was born.

MESSAGE
物語が始まったのち、しばらく画面に漂う重苦しい雰囲気。
この物語は私をどこに連れて行こうとしているのか？
不安な思いで画面を見つめ続けました。この重苦しさは今の日本を覆う空気に似ている…こんなことを考えながらも、いつしか映画に見入っていました。
何故か？それは中盤から立ち上がる「光を放つもの」に心が動いたからでした。「光を放つもの」。
それは普通の人が根源的に持つ良心や真心でした。一人の人間を救えるのは、一人の人間なのだと、静かに映像が問いかけてきます。世界で起こる不穏な出来事に苛まれる中で「人は信ずるに足る」と思える必見の映画です。

孤独な若者と孤独な老人は似ていると思った。

愛されるという体験が人を光の方向に導いてくれるのだろうが、
生きているだけで無条件に愛された体験を持つ人は意外に
少ないのかもしれない。
こんなに優しい大人たちがいる。
孤独でも愛したいと願う若者や老人がいる。
この世の理不尽を憂いても人類滅亡を望む人は少ない。
